Overview

Discovers the Unix socket path for the beachcomber daemon.

Discovery order:

1. $XDG_RUNTIME_DIR/beachcomber/sock  (if set and the path exists)
2. $TMPDIR/beachcomber-<uid>/sock
3. /tmp/beachcomber-<uid>/sock
